A Family Legacy

Jackpot Hill Ranch began as a family hunting ranch in 1992.  The Jones family purchased the original  property, just over a section of land,  from one heir of the Hey family, who had owned the land since at least the early 1900s...1915-17 or so.

The Jones Ranch was divided into 3 pastures, and in 2021, the back pasture was high fenced with the intention to create a small, family owned hunting ranch, featuring a few Exotic species, as well as native whitetail deer.  The ranch was stocked with a small number of Axis, Blackbuck, Fallow and Scimitar Horned Oryx.  Reed Deer were added in 2024.  Each species has reproduced very well, and numbers are sufficient to hunt a few mature animals each year.

This pasture is the most picturesque of the ranch, with beautiful long range views from several hilltops.  It's easy to just enjoy the scenery, and almost forget you are hunting...at least until a big buck steps out.  There are 4 significant valleys that provide excellent cover and food for the animals.  We also provide additional protein food plots and feeders to supplement the animals diet .

Jackpot Hill Ranch is a small family operation, and it is a labor of love.  Operated by Dennis and Vicki Jones, who live on the ranch...and assisted by their children, Tori and Steve Jones.  You will also probably see some of the 5 grandchildren on any given day, doing what they can to also 'help'.

We are proud of our hunting heritage, and we look forward to sharing our little piece of heaven with you.
